ABOUT ME

My name is Linda, and I grew up in the 1980's when we wore hyper-coloured clothing, stone washed jeans and shoulder pads. I am a farm girl, 6th born, and grew up on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in a farming area called Wamuran. I have always been passionate about creativity, and this was clearly apparent in my school years and beyond. After a change in direction, I spent 11 years as a Queensland Police Officer, spending the final 7 years as a Forensic Police Officer.

 

Unable to shake my yearning to create, I returned to the creative industry field completing a dual degree in Secondary Education & Humanities, majoring in Business & Visual Arts. I have since been working as a visual arts, business and legal studies secondary teacher who loves to share my appreciation and knowledge for learning. My objective is to inspire artistic growth, both in myself and others.
